About Us

Launched as a beta-version in early 2007, BioListings.com was developed to provide a free way for life science professionals to buy or sell surplus and used equipment they no longer needed. They complained that their labs and facilities had equipment they no longer needed and they didn't know how to find buyers. They listed on auction sites but most items of value went unbid. Without a vast network of contacts they were then frustrated by having no other option other than selling their valuable items for pennies on the dollar to a third party.

BioListings.com provides a free, simple, and easy way for life science research professionals, biotech startups, and pharmaceutical industry professionals to connect with each other. Sellers post their item, event, and service desciptions, images, and text. Companies who want to advertise their inventory, events, and jobs can include links to their own websites, company logos, company descriptions, and their contact information. Sellers can also hide their contact information if they choose to be contacted via direct email only. Those searching for equipment can search the listings until they find what they need. The site is in Beta format and will be undergoing changes and improvements with feedback from our users.

Buying used isn't always the best option for our members so we've created a comprehensive Life Science Directory featuring manufacturers, service providers, and industry specialists to assist the community in finding the information and services they need.
